The R&D unit of Rana Kimia Fam laboratory, with experienced experts and relying on up-to-date technical knowledge and advanced laboratory equipment, is constantly working to optimize the quality of produced paints by reformulating and using new raw materials.
One of the achievements of this unit in optimizing formulations is the introduction of a new formulation for zinc ethyl silicate primer with the least operational problems such as powdering.

Considering that the production cost of these imported paints is very high, they often impose significant costs on projects.
The replication of TIDE GUARD coating, produced by AMERON, and the production of related STARTER and CLEANER is one of these cases, which has taken a significant step in addressing the need of the country’s port docks for these types of imported paints and has had a great impact on preserving and reducing the maintenance costs of these types of structures.

This unit is formed by specialists in the field of industrial coatings marketing. The experts in this unit, in addition to having the necessary skills in marketing, are industrial coating specialists with a sufficient understanding of the related international standards. They also possess the technical knowledge required regarding the properties, types of applications, and methods of executing industrial coatings.
Providing pre-sales services to customers, which includes assisting in the selection of the appropriate coating system, improving the execution system of coatings, and helping customers calculate the correct amount of paint for projects or participate in tenders, is another task of this unit. Providing after-sales services to customers with the assistance of the technical laboratory unit is another responsibility of this unit.
